Structured along the lines of a traditional private enterprise, MPIC is directed and managed to meeting operating goals with the day-to-day supervision ensuring that accountable, efficient practices are implemented in all locations aimed at total quality management.

MPIC's goal is to create jobs for inmates by providing to its customers competitive, quality products and services on a timely basis.

Garments, Bedding & Linens

MPIC operates two textile manufacturing factories. The sewing operations provide a full line of clothing and flat goods for the Mississippi Department of Corrections as well as other state and local agencies, private prisons, and various political subdivisions of the state.

Metal Fabrication

MPIC's Metal Fabrication Plant manufactures a full line of metal products including detention furniture, livestock panels, barbecue grills, waste containers, park and recreational products, custom fabrication and various other metal products.

Furniture

MPIC operates an office furniture and upholstery plant. This operation provides a full range of office chairs and modular furniture.

Printing

MPIC operates a commercial printing plants providing offset printing, letterpress, typesetting and layout services to all state, county, municipal agencies, and to other tax supported and not-for-profit organizations located in the state.

Signs & Silk Screening

MPIC's Sign Shop produces a complete line of aluminum, steel, wood and plastic signs -- regulatory, warning, guide/information, advisory, parking, playground, building office, etc. We can produce a sign or silk screened textile to your specification. Custom work is our specialty.
